Why Work with Me?

If you’re facing challenges in your personal or professional life, such as difficulties with relationships, communication, or influencing skills, feeling unsupported, or dealing with workplace stress, burnout, or bullying, my 25 years of corporate experience may be beneficial to you. I specialise in leadership development and can also provide guidance for those navigating redundancy, career transitions, and job search coaching.

Having lived in Hong Kong for 15 years and worked across the Asia-Pacific region with individuals from diverse backgrounds, I understand the unique challenges of cross-cultural communication. If you're adjusting to life as an expatriate or accompanying spouse, or struggling with issues of belonging and identity, I can support you through these transitions.

I also have personal expertise in grief, bereavement, health-related anxiety, low self-esteem, and loneliness. In these areas, I offer compassionate support to help you through difficult times.

I am experienced in helping clients navigate personal and professional transitions, explore their identities, and grow both personally and professionally.

My Approach

As a Gestalt-based and Integrative psychotherapist, I focus on how you experience yourself in the present moment. Gestalt therapy emphasises living fully in the here and now, allowing change to unfold naturally. Our work together will centre on your lived experience, with an emphasis on emotional awareness and presence. While change may not always happen in predictable ways, staying present with difficult emotions can open new perspectives and opportunities for growth.

Session Rates

• £100 per 50-minute individual face-to-face session

• £75 per 50-minute individual virtual or telephone session

Cancellation Policy 48-hour notice required.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm invitation to engage in an initial conversation with me, free of charge. I understand that reaching out for support is an important step, and whether you choose to work with me or another therapist/coach, you are making a valuable commitment to yourself.

During our sessions, we will explore how you engage with your life and work. By embracing experiential learning—learning through doing—you’ll begin to see real and tangible change.

My Approach

Gestalt therapy is a relational approach, and the trust-based relationship we build as therapist and client allows you to explore patterns in your relationships with yourself and others. This exploration provides an opportunity to learn and experience new ways of being. In Gestalt, we view the relationship with self as an ongoing, evolving process. By committing to work with me, you are ultimately committing to your own growth and self-discovery.

Experience and Specialisation

With over 25 years of experience in the corporate world, including 17 years living in Hong Kong and working across the Asia-Pacific region, I am well-equipped to support you with career and work-related issues. My experience with senior leaders, paired with my ability to address emotional depth, offers a unique perspective that goes beyond typical Executive Coaching.

In addition, as the author of Where Would You Like Your Dishwasher? – My Story of Life, Love, and Loss, I bring specialist expertise in grief and loss. As an expatriate spouse, I supported my late husband Michael through his eight-year battle with a rare form of heart cancer.

A Life Journey

We are all, in a sense, "Living our Dying" from the moment we are born. The journey in-between is a process of deep learning. If you choose to walk that path with me, I will be here to support you.

As Terry Cooper beautifully put it, “To know our self is important, to be able to influence how we experience ourselves is everything.”
