About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and registered member of the BACP. My approach is to give you a confidential opportunity to express your thoughts and feelings. I aim to offer a non-judgmental space for you to explore the best way of dealing with your current situation.
I have worked in the caring professions for many years including at Kingston Hospital, Wandsworth MIND and Springfield Hospital. I volunteer with Cruse Bereavement Support in Lambeth, and The Mulberry Centre at West Middlesex Hospital, counselling clients experiencing the effects of cancer.
I have experience working with a diverse range of clients and circumstances including bereavement, living with uncertainty, communication within relationships, and existential issues.
The therapeutic relationship is at the centre of our work together and many of my clients have said they have experienced me as patient, kind and intuitive.
Practice description
I currently offer counselling sessions on the telephone.
My first session
We will begin with a single session, and depending on how you feel this may extend to further sessions. I provide an Integrative approach to counselling, which means I draw on a range of different theories and approaches to support our work together. The sessions are Person-centred and relational, in other words, how we relate as client and counsellor while focusing on what is important to you.
