About me and my therapy practice
Knowing where to start with therapy can feel daunting. We can find ourselves caught in patterns that no longer serve us, but we still need to figure out where to begin. Therapy offers an opportunity to explore the inner workings of our minds with depth, curiosity, and commitment. Through the process, we are presented with choices that enable us to move towards more openness, purpose, and freedom.
The space I offer is supportive, confidential, and nonjudgmental. I do not attempt to diagnose you. Instead, we will explore your lived experience together so you can better understand how you inhabit the world and how you want to live.
Life is challenging and confronting, and therapy presents an opportunity to use those struggles to deepen our understanding and grow. The ultimate aim of the therapeutic process is for you to be able to let go of the patterns that no longer serve you so you can live more in alignment with your values.
My training is rooted in existential theory, and my practice is integrative. I draw from a range of modalities I have studied to offer a framework that best supports you. My work is informed by Buddhism which I practice and teach, as well as my background in storytelling. I also have a particular curiosity in processes of transformation and am writing a doctorate on the role of psychedelics in facilitating radical change.
My first session
I offer a free initial twenty-minute Zoom session, which allows us to explore your needs and get a sense of whether we'd work well together. If you are interested in an introductory chat or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
I currently only have availability on Tuesdays.
For sessions, I charge between £80-£110 and ask clients to suggest what they feel they can fairly afford based on their income.
I offer a few low-cost spaces, for which I currently have a waiting list.
All sessions are 50 minutes.
