About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm David and I'm a person-centred counsellor, sometimes life can be overwhelming, we can feel anxious, depressed, stressed or that there's something 'just not right'. I offer a warm, compassionate space where you are free to explore the things that are causing you difficulties in your life.
I offer a flexible approach to working with the difficuties you wish to bring, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnotherapy, and trauma REWIND.
I believe that talking about difficulties can help us to see them in a different light, that sharing our difficulties, without fear of judgement from others, can lighten the load we sometimes feel. Sometimes we know the trauma that's causing our difficulties, and sometimes we don't; throughtout our time together you will be encouraged, and supported to explore at your own pace.
I offer a warm, accepting, non-judgemental counselling space, somewhere you can feel safe to express your thoughts and feelings, somewhere you will be heard.
We can work together so you can better understand your thoughts and feelings, finding new ways of looking at them, new ways of thinking about them, and new ways of coping with them.

My first session
