About me and my therapy practice
As a Person-Centered and Existential counselor, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly understood. Together, we will explore your challenges at your own pace, creating a process tailored to your individual needs and comfort.
I work with a wide range of concerns, from everyday struggles such as relationship issues, work-related stress, lifestyle difficulties, and illness, to more complex challenges that can gradually build up or sudden, overwhelming events that leave you feeling stuck or uncertain.
In addition, I support individuals facing mental health concerns like anxiety, panic attacks, depression, suicidal thoughts, a sense of lost purpose, or low self-esteem. My goal is to help you reconnect with the inner resources and strengths you may not even know you possess, guiding you toward greater clarity and personal growth.
Practice description
I guide my practice by the core Values and Principles outlined in the Ethical Framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This ensures that every aspect of our work together is grounded in respect, integrity, and professionalism.
I offer primarily face-to-face sessions, with both long-term and time-limited consultations available to suit your needs. In addition, I provide Single Session Therapy—a unique, evidence-based approach designed to address specific concerns and achieve focused, immediate outcomes.
My first session
In our first session, I will take the time to truly listen and understand what brings you to counseling. I aim to ‘step into your shoes’ and appreciate the challenges you are facing, from your perspective and within the context of your current life.
This session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions, clarify concerns, and discuss your expectations. It’s also a chance for us to explore how we might work together. I will adapt to your preferred style to ensure that the process feels comfortable and supportive.
Together, we will agree on the best way to move forward, remaining flexible as we go along. There are no obligations—just an open space for exploration and growth.
