About me and my therapy practice
I have experience working with individuals who are going through a range of issues including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, depression and bereavement. I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the most important part of the therapeutic process. It relies on a non judgemental, supportive and safe environment for you to share feelings, fears and emotions. Through this trust alliance you can begin to reflect, understand and build your own resilience in order to work through what is troubling you.
Practice description
Typically sessions are once per week lasting for 50 minutes. During this time we will work together to build a relationship in which you feel safe, supported and guided. My sessions are open ended which allows you to work towards a natural ending, which is an important part of the process.
My first session
If my approach sounds right for you, you can email me and I will arrange a suitable time for a telephone call for a brief assessment at no cost to you. During this time we can both get a feel for how we can work together. If we then agree to start therapy, our first session will be a more in depth assessment, this is charged at the same rate as the therapy sessions.
