About me and my therapy practice
Something on your mind…? Let me help you out!
If you are reading this, it is likely that you are struggling to live fully and thrive. Feeling uncertain about reaching out? You are not alone! Many people have made that call for the first time to me, and have tried out counselling, and found it has really helped.
Good mental health is not simply the absence of psychological problems. It is about thinking, acting and feeling in ways that enable you to live more fulfillingly and overcome challenges.
If you're feeling stuck and you want something to change, I can support you in exploring the stuckness and together we can unlock the way forward that feels more right for you – whether that might be difficulties with anxiety, struggles with panic attacks or a continuing self-doubt in the world. I have helped many people through their stuckness to a new way of living, and this can happen for you too.
Through therapy, I can help you tune in to what you really want and need, which can lead to you living a more authentic and fulfilled life.
I will also aid you in recognising unhelpful patterns and obstacles that get in the way of what you want for yourself and release them, if needed, and ultimately change your circumstances.
I will listen to your story with kindness and in total confidence. I understand it takes a leap of faith to get in touch - I want you to know that I can help you connect with the deepest parts of you that know the way forward.
I specialise in Focusing-oriented therapy, a style of counselling that really helps you tune into your inner self that knows the way forward. With this approach, I can support you in resolve stuck patterns of thinking, deal with critical voices and address difficulties from your past.
I am trained in the Rewind technique which is used to process PTSD, trauma, birth trauma and phobias. Please get in touch to find out more.
