About me and my therapy practice

Working with you and supporting you. Seeing the person as a whole being. To explore and understand with the person to help find your way to a better way of being. I like to have an integrated approach to meet the personal needs. Which means if you need emotional or spiritual support, solution focused and practical or explorative it is something I try to identify with yourself. To ensure your needs are being met to benefit you. 

Practice description

I work with individuals, couples and families. I bring together my various counselling qualifications, trainings and my experiences from working as a family support worker, emotional wellbeing practitioner, youth worker. As well as a course tutor for parenting programmes, mental health courses/ workshops and lecturing in educational institutions. 

In addition to regularly calling upon a wide range of research and developments in mental health and societal developments. I also like to integrate my work with diverse communities and cultures and bring a culturally responsive and faith sensitive approach to my practice to help with cross-cultural and intergenerational matters when working with clients. From anxiety, identity/self-questioning to trauma informed. I have lead focus groups, delivered specialised mental health workshops such as mens health or culturally informed professional training and have worked with international clients.

About me and my therapy practice

Bringing together my various qualifications, job roles and experiences. I like to work with my supervisee's to ensure a beneficial,  ethical and safe supervisory role is offered.

Encouraging professional and personal development. Bringing together various theories, practices and disciplines to help be informed in your work on an individual, collaborative and wholistic level. My experience includes working with individual, couples and family clients from young people to  Adults. Aswell as one-to-one and group supervision.
