About me and my therapy practice
Hello! My name is Norma, I provide counselling online only at present, thank you for viewing my profile.
Making the decision to look for help and support can be very daunting. I am very glad that you have made that step for yourself.
Are you struggling with thoughts and feelings that you can’t quite make sense of? Low mood, anxiety, maybe lack of energy, overwhelmed, or confused? Experienced life changes such as relationship breakdown or difficulties in your current relationship. Loss of work, new parent, bereavement, or bereavement of a loved one from suicide? Life changes can have us question our sense of self and how we function in day-to-day life.
If you are ready to take this step, I can help you to explore your thoughts and feelings in what is happening for you. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to talk at your own pace. Friends and family can be great listeners but sometimes things you need to say and share are held back?
I work in the Integrative Model which means I take from various therapeutic approaches. This allows me to tailor our work to help us meet your individual needs. My aim is to help you find some clarity, restore your sense of confidence, wellbeing, and empowerment. To help make your life manageable and fulfilling.
I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Also, a member of the Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO).
