About me and my therapy practice
Please contact me through my website for all enquiries.
I am a BACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing short and long-term therapy in my private practice located in North East Wales. Available for in person Counselling, over the phone and Online. Appointments can be available Mon-Sun including evenings.
I draw on a variety of approaches including Humanistic, and Eco Therapy. I am particularly interested in how our earlier experiences and relationships influence us in our present. My style of therapy will be tailored to you and your individual needs.
I also offer pretherapy. Pre-Therapy is a unique and effective way to facilitate contact-impaired persons. It is an approach, which focuses on patients who are difficult to engage. It is applicable for patients who experience regression, psychosis, learning disabilities, special needs, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Home visits are available for this type of therapy.
Practice description
Most people experience anxiety or depression at some point in their lives and need to cope with pain and confusion. You may feel stuck and unmotivated or need to work through a traumatic experience from your past so you can move on with your life. You might also experience work related stress or be dealing with relationship difficulties. Self-development may also be the reason for seeking therapy.
Therapy provides an opportunity to explore and make sense of your difficulties in a safe, non-judgmental environment, to develop your self-understanding and improve your relationships.
My first session
I offer short-term work as well as long-term psychotherapy. You do not need to commit to on-going therapy when you decide to make contact with me. Our initial appointment, which is free, will give us the opportunity to discuss your difficulties and how we can work together. We can have a phone conversation before arranging an initial consultation.
