About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to Your Journey of Healing and Growth
As an integrative counsellor, I offer a compassionate and client-centred approach to support you through life's challenges. My practice is rooted in the belief that no two journeys are alike, which is why I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet your unique needs. Together, we will create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your feelings, make sense of your experiences, and move toward healing and empowerment.
I integrate a range of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural techniques, to ensure our work aligns with your individual needs and goals. In addition to these evidence-based methods, I often incorporate creative tools and techniques into our sessions. Creativity can be a powerful way to access emotions and insights that might be difficult to express through words alone.
This could involve working with:
Art or imagery to help explore and process complex feelings.
Journaling or writing exercises to deepen self-awareness and reflection.
Mindfulness practices, which encourage grounding and presence in the here and now.
Symbolic tools, such as sand trays or metaphor-based work, to foster emotional expression and clarity.
These creative approaches are always introduced with your comfort and preferences in mind. You do not need any artistic skill or experience to benefit from these methods; they simply offer another way for us to access the deeper parts of your story and bring about healing.
If you feel ready to take that first step, I’d be honoured to join you on your journey. Please feel free to reach out to arrange an initial consultation or ask any questions you might have about my practice. Together, we can create a pathway toward healing and renewed hope.
Take the first step toward a brighter tomorrow—I look forward to hearing from you.
Practice description
My approach is rooted in respect, empathy, and collaboration. I see therapy as a partnership where your voice, values, and goals are central to our work together. By combining traditional counselling methods with creative exploration, I aim to help you reconnect with your inner strength and navigate life’s difficulties with greater confidence and resilience.
My areas of specialism include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and baby loss. I understand how overwhelming these experiences can feel, and I am here to walk alongside you with care and sensitivity. Whether you’re grappling with the weight of grief, navigating the complex emotions of trauma, or seeking relief from persistent anxiety or depression, I will support you at a pace that feels right for you.
Take the first step toward a brighter tomorrow—I look forward to hearing from you.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and ensure that you feel comfortable and supported. During this session, I will take some time to explain how I work, and together, we will explore your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to gain from our time together.
Before the session, I will provide you with an intake form to complete. This form helps me understand key aspects of your background, concerns, and goals. It also outlines our shared agreement, including confidentiality, boundaries, and practical details such as session length and fees.
During our initial session, we will:
Discuss your main concerns and what has brought you to therapy.
Identify your goals for therapy, whether that’s managing anxiety, processing grief, addressing trauma, or exploring another area of your life.
Clarify how I can best support you, tailoring our approach to your preferences and needs.
Answer any questions you may have about therapy or the process.
This first session is charged at the same rate as standard sessions, and it is designed to ensure you feel comfortable moving forward. My aim is to create a safe and welcoming environment where you feel heard and understood.

About me and my therapy practice
As a supervisor, I work collaboratively using the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, offering a holistic and reflective space to support your professional development. This model enables us to explore multiple facets of your work, including your relationships with clients, your therapeutic interventions, and your emotional responses within the therapeutic dynamic.
Our sessions will focus on:
Client content – understanding the issues presented in therapy.
Strategies and interventions – reflecting on techniques and approaches used.
Therapist’s process – examining your inner experiences and emotional reactions.
Client-therapist relationship – exploring dynamics and patterns.
Supervisor-supervisee relationship – fostering trust and collaboration in supervision.
Context – considering organizational, cultural, and systemic factors.
Wider influences – reflecting on how external factors may impact practice.
My approach is supportive and developmental, encouraging growth while maintaining ethical and professional standards. Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, I aim to nurture your confidence and reflective practice. Together, we create a safe, non-judgmental space to navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and deepen your understanding of your work.
Practice description
My supervision style is warm, supportive, and growth-focused. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced practitioner, I aim to help you build confidence, enhance self-awareness, and maintain ethical and professional standards. Together, we will create a space to celebrate your strengths, address challenges, and deepen your understanding of your therapeutic work.
My first session
The first supervision session is an opportunity to establish a collaborative and supportive relationship, ensuring we create a reflective space tailored to your professional needs. This session focuses on understanding your practice, identifying your goals for supervision, and discussing how we will work together to enhance your therapeutic work.
Before our session, I may ask you to complete an intake form to provide background on your training, experience, current caseload, and any specific areas of focus. This helps us shape the supervision process to meet your unique needs.
In the first session, we will:
Explore your supervision goals, whether related to client work, ethical considerations, or professional development.
Discuss how you approach therapy, including your preferred modalities and areas of expertise.
Review the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which forms the foundation of our work, considering client cases, interventions, relational dynamics, and wider contexts.
Clarify practical aspects such as frequency, session structure, and expectations within the supervisory relationship.
This initial session is a collaborative process designed to ensure that supervision provides a safe, reflective, and empowering space for you to develop confidence, deepen self-awareness, and navigate your practice effectively.
