About me and my therapy practice
Hi there, I’m Steph and welcome to my profile. I am a Humanistic therapist who provides sessions online, allowing you to attend therapy from a familiar space and fit sessions into your busy schedule.
I support adults through individual therapy, covering a range of different issues. In particular, I have extensive experience working with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and academic pressures. I also have knowledge and experience of working with neurodivergent individuals.
Practice description
Working in collaboration with you, at your own pace, I can provide you with a confidential, supportive space in which you can feel heard, understood and valued. Somewhere you can explore your concerns, gain insight into your experiences, uncover your strengths and essentially, gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
Whatever it is that you’re struggling with at the moment, know you are not alone. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, ethical and effective counselling - putting you and your experience at the centre of the work we do together.
My first session
It’s really important to find the right therapist for you. That’s why I offer an initial, free, no obligation phone conversation. Lasting around 20 minutes, it’s a great opportunity for you to tell me a bit about you, what’s bringing you to counselling, and for you to ask any questions.
In our first session, we’ll go through some paperwork and practical elements, before begging to get to know each other, focusing on what you’d like to explore over the course of our sessions.
I offer both long and short term therapy, therefore we can discuss and agree what approach would be most suitable for you.
What I can help with
Abuse, ADD / ADHD, AIDS/HIV, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Mood disorder, Neurodiversity, Personal development, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Vegan allied, Women's issues, Work related issues
