About me and my therapy practice

Hi there, I’m Steph and welcome to my profile. I am a Humanistic therapist who provides sessions online, allowing you to attend therapy from a familiar space and fit sessions into your busy schedule.

I support adults through individual therapy, covering a range of different issues. In particular, I have extensive experience working with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem and academic pressures. I also have knowledge and experience of working with neurodivergent individuals.

I am registered with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and follow their ethical framework to ensure you are able to trust me with any sensitive, personal information shared during our work together.

Practice description

As a Humanistic therapist, I trust you the client, to be the best judge in your therapeutic journey. I’m here to support you along the way. Your direction, at your pace.

Depending on your needs, I offer both long and short term therapy. Sessions are offered online via video call from wherever your location - allowing you to attend therapy from a familiar space and fit sessions into your busy schedule.

My first session

It’s really important to find the right therapist for you. That’s why I offer an initial, free, no obligation phone conversation. Lasting around 20 minutes, it’s a great opportunity for you to tell me a bit about you, what’s bringing you to counselling, and for you to ask any questions.

In our first session, we’ll go through some paperwork and practical elements, before begging to get to know each other, focusing on what you’d like to explore over the course of our sessions.

I offer both long and short term therapy, therefore we can discuss and agree what approach would be most suitable for you.

What I can help with

Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Loss, Mood disorder, Neurodiversity, Personal development, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
