About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with your mental health, feelings of sadness or anxiety?
Are you finding relationships, friendships or engaging with family difficult?
Have you experienced an upsetting or traumatic experience in your life that you would like to talk about and begin to process?
Or maybe you’re coping with low self-esteem, poor confidence and self-worth?
Hi, my name is Rhiannon and I am a qualified person-centred counsellor supporting women who are struggling with the wide range of challenges that life has to offer. I love working with women, as from my own experiences, recognise the individual difficulties that we can face. I specialise in working with women who have experienced childhood and adult abuse, sexual and domestic violence, stalking and individuals who may have a history of trauma.
In sessions, I hope to provide a space free of judgement where we can explore the difficulties you are facing, recognise any patterns of behaviour which are unhelpful and unsupportive to you, as well as explore any challenging or harmful relationships. I will not provide you with advice, but work alongside and in partnership with you, so that you can find the answers that are best for you.
I offer face to face sessions from my home office in Hemel Hempstead, as well as online sessions via Zoom.

My first session
It is important to find the best counsellor for you. In light of this, I offer a free 15 minute telephone or Zoom call, as an opportunity for us to meet and have a brief discussion about your hopes for counselling and for me to gain some insight into the difficulties you are facing at the moment. There is no obligation to any ongoing work together at this stage, but more so an opportunity to explore whether we are a positive match to working together.
