About me and my therapy practice
I practice in the Person-Centred Approach, which mainly means recognising you as the expert on your own situation, you as the agent of change in your life, and you as the source of the answers you’re looking for. But that doesn’t mean you do all the work. What I offer is an honest, empathic, non-judgemental partner to go with you wherever you need to go, and sometimes this means challenging you or pushing you out of your comfort zone. This approach also allows space for experiential exercises like meditation, breath work, or anything else you find helpful. What I can’t offer is advice, analysis, or all the answers.
I have experience working with a wide variety of people, am particularly familiar with autism and neurodiversity, and work with all kinds of issues including depression, anxiety (and social anxiety), and those vague feelings of just not being what you ought to be.
Practice description
Sessions are 50 minutes long and can be in-person or online (on Zoom).
My standard rate is £60 per session, but I also offer a sliding scale that we can discuss for those on no or low income.
My first session
Before agreeing to work together I recommend a short (10-20 minute) consultation online so you can ask any questions you have, and see if you think we're a good fit. There's no charge for this.
