About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I work with adults (16 plus) presenting with various problems such as anxiety, depression, intense and overwhelming emotions, bereavement, ADHD, and relationship difficulties. Additionally, I have experience working with students in higher education, where mental health difficulties are impacting on academic performance. If you are experiencing symptoms associated with BPD/EUPD, I can offer dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) informed treatment. This may include individual sessions, in addition to a skills training element.
I have been working in mental health for over 16 years. I have worked primarily in inpatient and hospital settings, but also have experience working in private practice, higher education, charity and outpatient services. I have extensive training and experience delivering dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) for patients and their families. My work has also involved implementing therapeutic service pathways for inpatient and hospital settings.
Practice description
I provide counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, using an integrative relational approach. This means that, whatever your reasons for seeking therapy, I am committed to working with you to build a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable exploring your challenges. With training in various therapeutic techniques, I can customise an approach that best suits your needs. I work with both individuals and groups, with sessions available in my private practice and at the Nightingale Hospital in London.
I lead a supportive and comprehensive therapeutic group for individuals with ADHD. This group offers a valuable opportunity to learn skills and strategies for effectively managing ADHD while also providing a nurturing environment to pursue personal goals. Sessions are held online on various weekday evenings. The next intake for the adult ADHD group is scheduled for January 2025, with registration opening in October 2024. For more information, please feel free to contact me.
I aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours.

My first session
It is important that you find a counsellor that feels right for you. Therefore, I offer a 15-minute introduction on Zoom, free of charge. This will give us an opportunity to meet, and ask any questions about group or individual therapy. The meeting will hopefully leave you with an initial sense of what it might be like to have your counselling sessions with me before you decide to commit. There is no obligation to commit at any time.
During our first session, we will explore in more depth what has bought you to counselling.
If you are hoping to engage in DBT skills coaching then the first session will take the form of an assessment.
If you intend to join a group programme, an initial individual 50 minute assessment will take place prior to the start of the group.
