About me and my therapy practice
I am a licensed counsellor/psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons.) in Person-Centred Counselling, which I studied at the University of Brighton. I am registered with the BACP. I am from Southern Ireland but live on the south coast of the UK. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, family/relationship issues and work issues. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment, where thoughts and feelings can be shared and explored, without fear of judgement. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am looking forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your journey.
Practice description
I have experience working with clients with anxiety and depression, in all kinds of life situations. I help you to understand why you feel the way you feel, and I help with low self-esteem and self-worth issues. We will usually talk about the issues at hand, and then at a pace that is comfortable for you, look back at your past and explore where they might stem from. I believe that within a safe, supportive therapeutic space, you can feel empowered and live the life you want to live.
