About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified practitioner and have 7 years in various settings providing counselling and counselling supervision. I have experience in depression, anxiety, addictions (inc: gambling and gaming), abuse & trauma, my practice is holistic and integrative / pluralistic.
I have worked with the NHS Talking Therapy services and The You Trust (trauma, domestic violence and rape counselling service), plus primary and secondary age complex SEN and various other areas including Autism, PTSD, fetal loss, grief and bereavement.
For adults over eighteen years, I can provide an indicative Autism, ASD or ADHD test. Please make contact for further details of this service.
I have a separate quiet area for us to work on a confidential basis, working within the BACP code of ethics. I have two chocolate Labrador cross dogs for K9 work / family therapy or walk & talk, if preferred.
Practice description
I like to offer a free getting-to-know-you initial session for half an hour. Conducted online or in-person, I am in Guildford, Surrey and can work online via Zoom Meetings / Google meetings or Teams.
My first session
To help with the getting to know you process, to decide if we are a good therapeutic fit, I can offer an initial consultation either in-person or online.
My work includes trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and PTSD, OCD, and an initial assessment is undertaken to help us to identify and to prioritise the areas of work.

My supervision diary follows a Monday to Friday format using the last few days of the month to enable time for client work to be completed for each monthly supervision cycle.

Practice description
Supervision in the counselling profession is developing swiftly in the UK. I offer a reflective client / counsellor-centred practice that takes into account ethical and professional development.
What you want to get out of supervision forms the basis of the work in a safe and reflective but challenging environment, aiming to discover best practice with the goals of the supervisiuon.

A getting to know you and your practice. I offer a free initial session in-person for half an hour to talk through all of your hopes, wants and aspirations.
