I offer a free 30-minute telephone consultation so we can get to know each other a little and whether we may be able to work together.

I offer online and telephone sessions and all sessions are 50-minutes.

About me and my therapy practice

In times of difficulty, you may feel anxious, depressed, overwhelmed to name a few, often leading to loss of confidence in managing to make decisions, trust issues, low self-esteem.

I am an integrative counsellor and have been in clinical practice since 2020.

I have many years of experience of supporting others in the workplace with their mental health through different roles in the British Army and in the care sector.

It’s my own journey through my therapy that has led me to where I am now. Understanding what it has felt like to ask for support even although I didn’t really know what I needed at the time.

I provide that same safe, confidential space with empathic understanding for my clients as was provided for me without judgement.

Practice description

For online and telephone sessions, I will check you are in a safe and confidential space before we start your session.

If the problem is important to you (regardless of what you think how others may view it), then it's important to me. A few examples of issues clients bring to their sessions are:

• Not feeling heard, listened to or believed

• Relationships with others.

• Feeling stuck in a situation such as a job, friendship or relationship you are unable to move on from.

• Fear of failure in trying something new.

As an integrative therapist, l draw on concepts from the different types of counselling I have trained in: Person-Centred therapy, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy and Compassion Focused therapy

This allows me to tailor your therapy to meet your needs. I work collaboratively with you to ensure I am working at my best to meet your needs, altering/tailoring your therapy as needed to support you achieve your goal/s.

I am client led throughout your time with me. These are your sessions and I want you to get the most from them.

My first session

After our initial 30-minute telephone call, in the first full session I will complete a small assessment. This allows me to get to know you a little better and start exploring with you, ways of working that you feel can support you.

Please be assured that I work at your pace and ensure at all times you feel safe continue. We can stop and come back to things as you feel ready.
