About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, I’m Annie
I am a qualified psychotherapeutic/counsellor and a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am insured and ICO registered, and I also hold an up-to-date Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate
I have a genuine passion for helping individuals navigate the challenges life presents them. I am excited to offer my skills and expertise to those seeking support and self-discovery.
Experience:
During my transformative five-year journey, I dedicated my time to volunteering with Cruse Bereavement, where I honed my capabilities in helping individuals cope with grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. For the past two years, I have continued my commitment to making a difference by volunteering with a charity focused on independent living. Through these experiences, I have worked with clients facing diverse mental health struggles and various life hardships.
Approach:
I firmly believe that each person I work with is the expert in their own life. As a counsellor, my role is to provide a secure, non-judgmental space for you to explore your current concerns and enhance your self-awareness. My integrative approach allows me to draw from a wide range of counselling theories and techniques, tailoring my methods to suit your unique needs.

What to Expect:
When you choose to work with me, you can expect a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where your needs take centre stage. My primary goal is to assist you in making sense of the challenges you face, helping you move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
If you are ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can overcome obstacles and build a brighter future.
Contact me today to schedule your first session.
My first session
Initial 30 minute phone assessment is free.
A first session will involve a general history and exploration of what you want to achieve in therapy. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you might have.
Usually, the first time we meet should give us a good idea of how well we might get along . However If I am not the right therapist for you , what happens? I believe an effective outcome depends on our therapeutic relationship and you are not required to continue seeing me for counselling, and if you decide that seeing someone else would be better for you, I will try my best to make a recommendation.
