About me and my therapy practice
“Real generosity towards the future lies in giving all to the present.”
― Albert Camus
You're setting yourself up for a brighter tomorrow by prioritising your well-being today. Counselling can help you develop the tools and insights you need to navigate life's challenges and pursue your goals with clarity and purpose. Don't let fear or uncertainty hold you back. Take the first step towards a happier, healthier you by reaching out for support today. You deserve it.
Depression and anxiety can be one of the most difficult things to manage and understand. It can affect us all in different ways, and not everyone experiences it the same way.
If you're struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges, know that you don't have to face them alone. Counselling can provide a safe and supportive space for healing, growth, and self-discovery. Whether you're dealing with low self-esteem, feeling like you don't belong, or experiencing loneliness, a skilled therapist can help you explore your thoughts and emotions, identify negative patterns, and develop coping strategies that work for you.
Practice description
"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." - Carl Jung.
If you're considering counselling, know that you have the power to unlock your true potential and become the best version of yourself. Integrative psychotherapy focuses on exploring, acknowledging, and understanding one's pain or suffering. The purpose of therapy is not to eliminate suffering entirely, as that may be unrealistic, but rather to provide a safe space for individuals to express your emotions and experiences. By giving voice to your suffering, you can gain insight into your pain, find ways to cope with it, and give yourself the ability to change your situation. Therapy, in this sense, is about finding a form for one's suffering, a way to express it, and work through it. It's an approach that acknowledges the complexity of human experience and the importance of validating and honouring one's emotions.
As a seasoned mental health professional, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate their way towards healing, no matter what their mental health struggles might be. Whether you're grappling with depression, anxiety, or any other mental health issue, I have the experience and expertise to guide you towards a better life. My journey has taken me from working in specialised trauma clinics at prestigious institutions such as South London and Maudsley Hospital to working with local community mental health charities such as Cruse Bereavement charity and Mind UK. With a Master's degree in Integrative psychotherapy, I draw from existential, humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. My expertise extends to working with clients in different stages of their life, from ageing and menopause to cultural and sexual identities and everything in between. The call to arms is clear - take action today, and let's embark on this journey towards healing and growth together.
