About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist, providing professional support, in confidence.
You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship, work or health issues or feel stuck in a particular area of life. Perhaps you seek counselling because of the impact of recent events, or past experiences which have had a lasting effect on you. You may be going through a time of significant change or loss and are finding it difficult to cope or know how to move forward.
Life, with all our roles and responsibilities can be both joyful and painful at the same time. It may be that you have been strong for a long time and held on to emotions, but have now come to the point where you find yourself wanting change or are unable to keep going. Whatever you are going through, counselling can help you through.
As an Integrative therapist, my range of expertise enables me to adapt my approach with each client uniquely to explore issues in depth and help clients move forward with clarity and improved wellbeing. Counselling can help to alleviate short-term or long-term issues and to face future challenges feeling stronger.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationships, family issues, bereavement, trauma, sexuality, parenthood, health, cancer, transitions and identity.
Valuing difference, diversity and individuality of choice is at the heart of my practice and I support each individual to feel empowered to live authentically.
As a registered counsellor with the BACP, I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Alongside my private counselling practice, I am a counsellor at Richmond Borough Mind and at The Mulberry Centre at West Middlesex Hospital which provides counselling for those affected directly by cancer and to their loved ones. I am also a Samaritan listener, providing emotional support to callers.
If you are considering whether counselling can help you, contact me to talk things through.
