About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Louise and I help adults and young adults with anxiety, depression, low self worth, confidence and feelings of being overwhelmed enabling them to build resilience and a healthy mental outlook to cope with life’s day to day challenges.
I am a friendly and empathetic listener and I support people to build and maintain healthy mental health.
With life being so busy, I believe it is easy to lose connection with ourselves and feel overwhelmed and anxious. Self esteem and confidence can be lost making the smallest of day to day challenges feel impossible.
I offer a space of safety and compassion where we can explore your emotions working to connect with yourself and others again. A space you can feel heard in and begin to remember what it feels like to just be you, without outside pressures and labels.
Learning about yourself in therapy can help to develop self awareness, having this understanding of ourselves of how and why we feel things helps us build our resilience. Whilst strength is often talked about, it’s resilience that helps us cope with day to day challenges and prevents feelings of being overwhelmed.
Developing a well-being plan we can take a holistic look at what you and your mental health needs, supporting you in your mental health so you wont have to manage alone.
If you are wondering if therapy is the right route for you then call or email me now, I am happy to talk through how I work and how therapy can be such a valuable part of our self care routine. Take some support and make positive changes in your life.
Practice description
In Person Therapy -
I work from a beautiful, comfortable room in an apartment overlooking the river in Guildford. It is a private venue with just 1 other working counselor. There is a public car park less than 5mins walk on Shalford Road.
Online -
I offer online therapy via teams, which allows more flexibility and accessibility for clients and many prefer to be in their own home for therapy. If you feel this is a better fit for you I just ask that you find a quiet and confidential space to meet from. It's important you feel safe during our sessions.
My first session
First Session
I believe it's important for you to feel safe and comfortable working with me and this is integral to the therapy itself, therefore I offer a free introductory call/ teams. This is an opportunity for me to explain how I work and for you to ask any questions about therapy and basically see how we 'feel' working together.
If after this call you feel that therapy is for you then we can book in a first session. We can discuss how long we would like to work together and regularly review this commitment, there is no tie in to the number of sessions you have.
In this first session as we get to know each other I will complete a short assessment, which means asking questions to build a picture around your general support and well being. I will also talk through a therapeutic contract which explains about confidentiality between us, how I store your data and payment expectations.

Practice description
My practice offers face to face therapy and online therapy.
My therapy room is based at Locker27 an athletic development gym in Addlestone, it is a completely private and comfortable space. The gym reception offers a waiting area with drinks available.
I am passionate about making mental well being more accessible. By running my private practice form the gym I hope to help people recognise the value in investing time into their mental health in the same way they do their physical health. I offer a safe and empathic space for you to be heard, where together we can explore your patterns of behaviour, building your self-worth and self-esteem.
The rooms are easily accessible by the M25 Junction 11 or A3 Cobham Junction, or via Addlestone train station, situated between Woking and Weybridge.
