About me and my therapy practice
If you're struggling with personal issues and need someone to talk to, I'm here to offer you a safe and confidential space where you can explore your life experiences without fear of being judged. I'll listen to you with empathy and understanding and help you work through any challenges you're facing.
Life events can leave us not feeling ourselves, and seeking help can be overwhelming. As a qualified Counsellor, I have experience working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I know that circumstances can leave you feeling unmotivated and low, but I am here to offer you support.
It's great that you've already taken the first step by acknowledging that you need some extra support. Why not take the next step and give me a call? I offer a free 20-minute consultation to discuss what you hope to achieve from counselling.
I am now able to offer both face-to-face and remote sessions depending on your preference.
Practice description
Starting or returning to therapy can be daunting but taking those first brave steps could be the best decision you make. As a young male therapist, I am aware of the stigma that surrounds attending therapy, however it is my mission to advocate for more people to try as I have seen through my own experiences how beneficial it can be. I was skeptical at first, but therapy changed my life for the better. It is my aim as a qualified therapist to use the skills I have learnt to support others who also may be struggling with the challenges life throw at us.
I work with all ages and currently work as a specialist mental health mentor with university students as well as provide support for both family members and those directly affected by cancer with Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
I have a wide range of experience within the mental health field:
I currently work as a Specialist Mental Health Mentor with University students and as a private counsellor with adults and teens.
My counselling experience also consists of working for:
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity- support clients with Cancer as well as family members of those affected. I provide a chance for the clients to speak openly and freely about their experiences at what is a very challenging and difficult time of their lives.
Anglia Ruskin University- supported students with various mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and low self-esteem
