About me and my therapy practice

We may feel alone and isolated with our feelings leading to anxiety and depression with no one to listen or talk to. I offer you a confidential space to explore how you feel and support you to work through difficult emotions and painful life experiences.

My name is Kelly and I offer counselling and psychotherapy in central Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I draw upon different counselling theories to inform my approach, enabling me to offer you a bespoke, adaptable and holistic approach to your therapeutic needs.

I have clinical experience of working with anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, trauma, PTSD , sexual/domestic  abuse and violence and everyday life worries and problems.

I offer a private space where we can meet face to face, online or by telephone. I will provide a safe and calm place, free from judgment where you can share your thoughts and feelings. I can help you explore and guide you through the process of healing and overcoming difficult emotions and experiences.

Sometimes we may think that it's impossible to overcome strong emotions and painful life experiences.  I believe with the right support you can overcome and move forward with life.

I have personal experience of SEN parent carers and the stress and challenges SEN parent carers can face, not just within the educational system but also the healthcare system.  Being a parent carer is a challenging role, one involving many appointments and different professionals. The wellbeing of the whole family falls on your shoulders.

I can help by supporting you to improve your relationships and communication with professionals, managing stress and exploring your emotional needs. I can support you through the emotional process that comes from having a child or dependant with a life limiting diagnosis and sudden changes. Additionally, together we can work on self-care strategies to support you and meet your needs.

My first session

I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation, during this time we can explore what's brought you to therapy and what you need from the therapy process. I will share how I can support you and how we can work together.  After this initial free session there is no obligation to continue therapy with me, it's important that you find the right therapist for you.  please reach out to me if you would like to discuss your therapy needs.

I welcome referrals from EAP's and insurance companies. I am also registered as a vendor for Thames Valley Police and WPA Health Insurance.
