About me and my therapy practice

Therapist specialising in attachment and IFS-informed work.

Therapy isn’t about fixing you—you’re not broken. It’s about understanding how your past experiences shape your relationship with yourself and others and gaining tools for present-day challenges.

Many people I work with seek support for difficulties in adult life that connect back to early relationships with parents or other caregivers.

Everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, understood, and supported as they explore these patterns, and that’s what I aim to offer in our sessions. If you’re ready to look at how attachment shapes your life and relationships, I’m here to help guide this meaningful journey. Together, we can work toward a place where you feel more secure, at ease with yourself and others, and connected.

My approach

My approach combines attachment theory with insights from the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, which I integrate as an IFS-informed therapist. While I am not a trained IFS practitioner, I have found that aspects of this model — particularly its focus on inner harmony and self-acceptance — can be transformative for clients. IFS views us as having different “parts” of ourselves, some of which may hold old wounds or protective roles that shape our responses.

By blending attachment-based exploration with IFS-informed techniques, I offer a warm, non-pathologising approach. Together, we can explore early experiences, understand the roles of these inner parts, and find ways to support healthier self-relationships and interactions with others.

Practice description

Attachment-based counselling and psychotherapy for individuals, online.

Having been in counselling myself, where I often felt understood but still wondered, “Is that all there is?”, I’ve come to realise that I am driven not only to help clients process deep emotions but to also support meaningful, sustainable change.

Since qualifying as an integrative counsellor, I’ve continued to deepen my skills, training further with a postgraduate diploma in psychodynamic principles.

It was during this journey that I became increasingly captivated by Attachment theory, which beautifully explains why so many adults internally sense a fundamental lack, often seeking to fulfil it through relationships, career achievements, material possessions, food, alcohol, substances, and so on.

Building on this understanding, I later found Internal Family Systems (IFS) to be a valuable, game-changing addition for working with clients’ inner conflicts.

Qualifications & Training

• PgDip in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy – Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, London

• Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – CPCAB, UK

• Specialised training supporting survivors of sexual violence

• BACP registered member

In my previous work in charitable organisations and the NHS, I supported clients from diverse backgrounds, including survivors of trauma and sexual violence. This experience has deepened my commitment to providing a safe, supportive space where each client’s unique journey is respected.
