About me and my therapy practice

Does life feel difficult or challenging for you right now?

Do ordinary life tasks seem overwhelming?

Perhaps you considering alternative paths to parenthood?

As an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges at your own pace. My approach is person-centred at its core, complemented by techniques from psychodynamic theory, CBT, transactional analysis, and transpersonal theory, allowing me to tailor sessions to suit your unique needs.

I have a particular focus on supporting individuals with fertility complexities, including surrogacy, alternative routes to parenthood, and the emotional impact of fertility struggles. Additionally, I work with a diverse range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and identity issues, including those relating to sexual orientation and gender identity.

Working collaboratively, I aim to empower you to gain deeper self-understanding, foster resilience, and create meaningful changes in your life. Whether you're navigating a challenging situation, seeking clarity, or looking to improve your emotional well-being, I’m here to help.

I have experience volunteering with a low-cost counselling service and I believe in accessible therapy for all. I offer a certain number of reduced rate sessions online, please contact me for details and availability.

Practice description

I am an empathic and compassionate therapist who values equality and believes in the importance of positive mental health. You deserve to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, and I am here to support you on that journey.

The foundation of a successful therapeutic relationship lies in how we work together to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space. Therapy is a collaborative process—something you actively engage in rather than something done to you.

I offer weekly sessions that can be conducted via telephone, online, or face-to-face in the local area, giving you flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable.

Fees and Availability

Online & Telephone Counselling: £65 per session

Face-to-Face Therapy: £75 per session

I also offer low-cost online therapy options—please get in touch to discuss further details.

My first session

Before we begin therapy, we’ll have a 20–30 minute phone call to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. This is also an opportunity for me to share more about how I work, so we can decide together if we’re the right fit. If we feel that I’m not the best match for your needs, I’ll be happy to help signpost you to other appropriate resources or professionals.

If we decide to proceed, I will send you an assessment form, along with a contract and a working alliance agreement. These documents outline how we will work together and ensure we have a shared understanding of the therapeutic process. While the term “assessment” might sound formal or daunting, it’s simply a way to help me understand you better so that I can provide the most effective support.

Sessions

Subsequent sessions are 50 minutes in length and can be tailored to your needs—whether time-limited or open-ended. Our work together is collaborative, supportive, and always free from judgment.
