About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel overwhelmed, numb, sad or maybe you’re finding everything a bit much? I understand what it’s like when you can’t see a way forward and you don’t feel heard. I can help you explore those thoughts and feelings in an empathic and non-judgemental space.
I’m an Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist working in Manchester City Centre, Widnes & Online. As a Neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ therapist I have a lived experience in these areas and work extensively with clients in these communities.
I have experience of working with a multitude of presenting issues such as adhd, autism, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, bereavement, shame, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, stigma, unhelpful & intrusive thoughts, feeling sad, social anxiety, low self-confidence, panic attacks, sexual abuse and work-related stress.
Phrases I often hear when people talk about coming to counselling:
“I wouldn’t know what to say” or “I’d have nothing to talk about”
“I just get on with things and don’t talk about my feelings”
“I’m fine, I don’t need therapy”
“They wouldn’t understand”
“They will judge me when they hear my issues”
“I don’t have time at the moment”
Does any of this sound familiar? These are common concerns people have before coming to counselling and I offer a free phone consultation to understand what is troubling you and how I might be able to help.
Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk about your issues. I can help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others.
