About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Eleanor, if you’re reading this, I’m so happy that you’ve taken the first step to starting your therapeutic process, finding a therapist/counsellor. So, I guess one of the questions you may have, is, which counsellor seems right for me? My honest response would be, find someone you feel drawn in by, there’s probably a reason for this feeling, you might feel like part of their bio resonates with you or something they specialise in just clicks.
So, what do I offer as a BACP Registered therapist/counsellor? I’m a person-centred counsellor meaning I offer a safe, non-judgemental, and honest space for you to talk and process your feelings. Maybe you might want to process a specific life event? Or maybe things just don’t feel quite right? Any reason is a valid reason to enter therapy.
I have training and experience in bereavement and domestic abuse, however I’ve worked with a large number of presenting experiences and issues, for example depression, anxiety, self-identity, self-esteem to name a few.
I offer STUDENT DISCOUNT to those in college, university and further education.
I offer a friendly and safe space for LGBTQ+ clients
Sometimes we feel like we need to speak to someone who’s neutral, it can feel difficult to share some emotions with a family member or friend. I hope to be that someone who can offer an gentle and empathetic approach.
I’ve worked for many years for multiple non-profit organisations working with individuals within the Merseyside area and work privately too.
Please feel free to contact me through the BACP directory, email, text, phone call, which ever feels most comfortable with you. If you’d like to arrange a free phone call/zoom session for 20 minutes to see if I’m the right counsellor for you, I can arrange this, with no obligations attached.
