About me and my therapy practice
I am an Integrative Psychosynthesis counsellor and a professionally trained and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I follow the ethical guidelines of BACP concerning confidentially and professional conduct.
As a therapist, I recognise and appreciate the transformative potential of challenging life events or states of psychological crisis. In working together, we will use traditional psychotherapy techniques, guided imaginary, and psychosomatic interventions. We will focus on your present moment experience as well as consider your past; in doing so we will pay attention to mind, body, and emotions - to bring them into balance.
My role will be to provide you with a confidential, supportive, and trusting space where you will be able to explore, make sense of, and process what brings you to therapy. We will work together to foster understanding of your needs and wishes and what matters to you. Together we will strive to make meaning of your inner world and life experiences, which, in turn, can enhance a more confident self-awareness and sense of well-being. You will receive support to make choices and set goals in keeping with your values.
What I can help with
