About me and my therapy practice
How are you at the moment? Is everything becoming too much ? Do you struggle with everyday life and having difficulty in making sense of what is going on? Stress, anxiety, feeling low, depression, experiencing relationship issues, work burnout or going through life transitions including health concerns can be overwhelming. Through exploring your life challenges together in counselling you can learn a meaningful and different perspective and develop self-awareness. This will enable you to empower yourself and make personal and positive changes in your life.
Practice description
I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor and I provide a confidential, authentic and non-judgemental space for you to explore challenging aspects in your life. We can work together that you may understand the challenges that you are going through. I will be here to patiently support you make sense of your thoughts and emotions through providing you a reflective space wherein we can both create coping strategies, set boundaries and develop a secure sense of self which can help you live your life to its full potential.
I work with clients who experience stress, anxiety and depression which can be rooted in past and present experiences. I work with burnout and help clients develop their own work-life balance. I explore self-esteem issues and help clients create a better and secure sense of themselves. I support clients who go through relationship issues and helped them to recognise and communicate their needs. I also work with clients who want to reflect on their past and how it is affecting them in their present life.
I am trained as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor (CPTA) which means that I adjust my work to the needs of my clients in order for them to become more self-aware. I also studied Jungian psychoanalytical approach (Society of Analytical Psychology, London) which values our unconscious and how it affects us in our everyday life. My degree in Psychosocial studies (University of London) explored our life circumstances and that has inspired my work to help clients understand their mental health and wellbeing.
My first session
Do not hesitate to send an enquiry message or book an initial assessment. The first session is a chance for both of us to know if we can work collaboratively.
Most of my first sessions are online. A confirmation email will be sent to you once an initial session is set between us. The 50 minute initial session is a space wherein we can explore together what has brought you into therapy, your needs, what you need from me as a counsellor and what you might want to unpack in therapy.
A counselling contract will be sent to you when we decide that we can work together focusing on your therapeutic goals.
Making a decision to be in therapy is not easy. You might be hesitant which I can understand but as a non-judgemental counsellor I am here to accept you as YOU. I accept the pain and the challenges that you are going through and your need to find your own solutions with the support of therapy.
