About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified therapist with experience in helping people to:
• Manage Anxiety & Stress
• Increase belief in themselves
•Learn what gets in the way of living the life that they want
•Improve their relationships - to Self, and others
• Process Trauma, including childhood trauma & domestic abuse
• Navigate and make sense of Midlife Transitions
We all have difficulties in our lives at times. In these times, the people in our lives may not always know how to help and we may feel disconnected from ourselves, others, and our lives. This can be a painful and isolating place to be. And we don’t have to go it alone.
No matter what your history or troubles are now, working together, I can help you increase resilience and equip you with the tools you need to lead a healthier, happier life.
Practice description
I am both a therapist and a coach. My practice draws from elements of different therapy approaches so we can work in a way that is rightly suited to you to help you achieve your desired outcome.
During therapy, we will work together to look at what's going on for you. Empowering you with the insight, tools, and resources to help improve self-awareness and develop a better understanding of the problem, and coaching techniques to support you in making effective, long-term changes.
I provide a warm and empathetic environment where you can feel safe to explore what's troubling you without judgment.
My style of working is conversational with compassion and guided interventions that gently get to the core of the issue presented. I am a hands-on, engaging, and interactive therapist.
My first session
I offer an introductory 50-minute consultation (in-person or online) as a first session which will allow time for you to ask questions. The fee for this is £55 with sessions thereafter at £70.
During the consultation, I will listen to your concerns and ask questions to help me understand your situation better. We will explore where you are, and what you'd like to get out of working with me and decide whether indeed we feel we are a good fit to work together.
At the end of the first (consultation) session, further sessions can be booked if you decide whether you would like to work together.
