About me and my therapy practice

Hello, How are You today? How many times are you asked but not heard? I will listen and hear how You are today.

The core of my practice is the therapeutic relationship, I will respect, support, and hold an honest empathic space for you where we can explore and understand your feelings.

Perhaps there are feelings of not fitting in, a round peg and square hole may come to mind, anxieties and depression may feel normality and a wanting to change. We can walk together through your feelings and emotions to find who you are and where you want to be.

Practice description

My therapy experience has been within the charity sector for both a Christian agency and an addiction service. I have experience with a diverse range of life matters including addiction, trauma, childhood diversity and abuse, adult abuse and relationship difficulties, neurodiversity and working with LGBTQIA+ folk.

I'm working with neurodiverse and LBGTQIA+ folk, offering support for emotions and relational issues that may be presenting at this time, or within past relations. I work with and understand the difficulties in sharing emotions and vulnerabilities, with shame and minority stress which may present with Queer folk.

My first session

I feel it is important within therapy to connect with your counsellor, when you feel comfortable with your counsellor talking therapy comes naturally.
