About me and my therapy practice

My deep passion lies in facilitating healing from within. We start by addressing your symptoms, and as we explore them, we uncover the root causes. By healing these foundational issues, the symptoms gradually fade. I approach this process with deep respect, working at a pace that feels right for you.

I am trained as an integrative therapist, as well as in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I blend various therapeutic modalities, tailoring them to meet your individual needs and preferences. This personalized approach ensures that the therapy experience is uniquely suited to you. I also prioritize a collaborative approach, ensuring we are aligned throughout the journey. This partnership empowers you to actively engage in your healing process. Together, we will navigate your path toward growth and well-being.

Practice description

I support individuals who are going through challenging times or seeking significant change in their lives. While I work with a broad range of issues, I specialise in areas such as bereavement and loss, trauma and complex trauma, anxiety and depression, anger issues, and chronic illness. I also have a particular interest in relationship difficulties and family estrangement.

As a trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ inclusive therapist, I approach each individual with respect, sensitivity, and understanding.

My first session

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, which is why I offer a brief introductory video call before our first session. This gives you the chance to ask any questions or express concerns you may have about therapy, and to determine if we’re a good fit for each other. During our first session, I will invite you to share any information you think is important for me to know in order to begin building an understanding of what’s happening for you. This will inform our therapeutic approach and will be updated as we continue working together.

There is no minimum number of sessions required, and most importantly, there is no right or wrong way to do therapy. Together, you and I, will find the approach that works best for you.
