About me and my therapy practice
Life can throw us endless challenges, and these can often bring up difficult emotions. I provide a safe space to explore these emotions in a judgement free environment with compassion and empathy.
Therapy for me cannot be rigidly kept in one box or framework, and as an analytically minded yet creative human, my approach reflects this. Therapy needs to ebb and flow, adapting in a way that suits each client’s individual needs.
The key approaches I draw from are the psychodynamic approach, attachment theory, and transactional analysis, and I use the core conditions of the person-centred approach to underpin all of this. Alongside these approaches I use interventions from mindful self-compassion focused therapy, psycho-education and cognitive behavioural therapy depending on the wants and needs of my client.
