About me and my therapy practice
Have you been feeling anxious, stressed, burned out or overwhelmed?

Psychotherapy can help you with all these things and more. It provides a safe and confidential space for you to bring your issues and concerns to and being truly heard.
We will explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and of others. We will work on past traumas to help you heal so that you can have the life you want.
A bit about myself. After graduating from university in the US, I joined booming financial services industry, but after a while started noticing that it was people, not financial markets, that interested me. I then got an MBA from INSEAD in France and came to the UK to work in Human Resources – the profession which allowed me to address the human aspects of work and support people along their work journeys.
I have always loved listening to people’s stories, so I decided to study psychotherapy in order to understand others and myself better and learn how to help people at a deeper, more personal level. I received a Master’s Degree (Distinction) and Post-Graduate Certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University, London.
Today I combine working in a corporate setting with working as a psychotherapist.
Practice description
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist which means that I draw on a range of theories and methods to inform how I work with my clients. I believe that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations, so I will work with each person in a bespoke way, tailoring my approach to their needs and therapy goals.
I also utilise EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) which is a unique, powerful therapy that helps people recover from problems triggered by traumatic events in their lives. Whilst best known for treating PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), EMDR can help with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression and anxiety. EMDR therapy is endorsed by NHS, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), World Health Organisation, and many other bodies.
We will work together on making the changes you would like to see (and on accepting what is). Ultimately, therapy is about developing new perspectives and behaviours which will enable you to be more adaptive, resilient and lead a more meaningful, balanced and fulfilling life.
Like all UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) registered psychotherapists, I am trained in and have experience working with a range of issues, including stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, identity, life purpose, relationships and sexual issues, work and career issues, trauma and bereavement, amongst others.
Of course, there may be other reasons you are seeking help, and I will be happy to discuss your specific situation and needs to determine how we can work together on moving your life forward.
I attend regular professional supervision and abide by UKCP and BACP Ethical Codes.

My first session
I offer a complimentary 30-minute introductory telephone or online consultation to discuss your concerns and how we can work together to address them. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and decide if I am the right therapist for you.
Subsequent sessions are 50 minutes long and take place once a week at the same time. Sessions can be extended to one and a half sessions (75 minutes) subject to availability.
