About me and my therapy practice
I am a Humanistic and Integrative counsellor and a registered member of the BACP.
I work relationally and am influenced by Person-centred, Transactional Analysis and Psychodynamic modalities.
I am based in West London. Sessions take place either in person, just a short walk from Earls Court Station or on Chiswick High Road, or alternatively I also conduct online therapy.
Initially, my focus is on creating a safe and secure environment in which the client can feel supported to explore the issues that are pressing for them. I aim to cultivate a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space in which the client can feel free to express themselves openly.
My way of working invites a space to look at learned behaviours and unconscious patterns from both childhood and later years. I work with people from all different walks of life, although most have experienced past relationships or periods that have caused emotional pain, distress or unease.
I have found that an increased awareness through joint reflection of one’s patterns, cycles and coping strategies can help clients come to a greater understanding of themselves and dramatically influence how we may navigate life’s difficulties and challenges in personal relationships.
Practice description
I work with people from all backgrounds, ages and preferences, aiming to be inclusive of a full diversity of the human experience.
My practice has also centred on working with young people entering into the music industry. Having previously performed as a singer at an international level, I can personally appreciate the impact and difficulties that the music industry can have on one’s sense of self and identity, therefore I relish working therapeutically with performers and artists alike.
I work in both a short and long-term capacity depending on the needs of the client.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Depression, Health related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Sexuality, Stress
Types of therapy
Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Psychodynamic, Relational
Clients I work with
Adults, Young people
