About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m an experienced Psychodynamic therapist and I presently work with adults and young people privately and within the education sector. I understand that life can be challenging and it's not always easy to talk about our issues. I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and gain insight into your life.
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on unconscious processes as they are manifested in a person's present behaviour. It emphasises the importance of the individual's personal history and the role that past experiences play in current behaviour. The therapist helps the client identify, understand, and work through unconscious emotions, thoughts, and motivations that may be negatively impacting their life.
