About me and my therapy practice
I practice a non-judgemental, respectful environment in which you can speak freely about what’s wrong. As a trained counsellor, I encourage you to develop insight into self-damaging or limiting thought and behaviour patterns - and I help you make positive changes and move forward into a happier life.
It could be depression, stress, anxiety, bereavement, and loss, cross-cultural issues, life changes, or an abusive relationship.
You’ll find me gentle, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. No matter what you have experienced, or what you’re going through right now, you will be accepted, acknowledged, and understood.
Just by reading this, you’ve made the first step towards feeling better. When you’re ready to get in touch.
Practice description
I trained in Transactional Analysis. (TA) is a talking therapy that explores how personality is shaped by experience, often during childhood. It’s known for the phrase 'I'm OK, you’re OK’ - equal respect for ourselves and respect for others.
I have over 7 years of experience working with clients, especially in bereavement, loss, and with cancer patients and their families.
I have a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of:
United Kingdom Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA)
I am also a member of the following:
The Black African and Asian Therapy Network (BAATN)
