About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for taking time to look at my profile today. My name is Beverly and I'm a dual qualified Therapist/Counsellor and Coach, helping you move from where you are now, to where you want to be. You may be reading this because you're experiencing some sort of distress or problem, or perhaps you're ready to explore different aspects of your life & want to become unstuck & move forward. Sometimes we need to look at our past, to understand the patterns & circumstances that have brought us to where we are and sometimes we want to look to the future, to make choices for positive change.
I will provide you with a safe and confidential space in which to be heard, understood and explore and we will work together to empower you to understand yourself, your history and your situation, helping you to reconcile with the past, heal and move forward. Your story and situation is as unique as you are and our sessions will be tailored to your specific needs. I will listen to your story and treat it with importance and respect, in a non-judgmental environment. Together we will explore the right way forward for you.
I use a blend of therapeutic coaching and different modes of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Single Session Therapy.
Practice description
I work with clients from all backgrounds and industries, on a variety of different issues, goals and life events. I use a blend of therapeutic coaching and different modes of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Single Session Therapy. I have worked extensively with people who are creative and spiritual, many of whom work in the arts, music and entertainment industries.
I have worked with a broad range of clients, from business owners, younger people who are just starting out and those who simply want to explore how things can be better for them, whether that is through relationships, spirituality, vocation or emotions. I have experience in bereavement counselling and seek to help those who are struggling with loss. I have specialist training in CBT and Single Session Therapy and experience of helping people with anxiety and imposter syndrome.
My first session
In our initial, 1 hour session, we will talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you might want to achieve from it. We will get to know each other so that we can see how we might work together and start to explore the best way forward for you. We will work at your pace and to your agenda, to ensure that you are able to make the changes that you want.
