About me and my therapy practice
My work as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, began in both a nonprofit organisation and rehabilitation, helping vulnerable members of the community. Although I continue to work in these areas, my practice has expanded to include a varied and diverse client base. I work with various issues including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, bereavement, stress and addiction.
You may have found yourself here as a result of wanting help with things that feel overwhelming right now. Perhaps your relationship isn't going in the right direction or work is becoming difficult to face. Whatever your battle may be, I can support you with gaining a deeper understanding for what is impacting your life and how to work through the issues you're currently facing.
Practice description
Sessions are 50 minutes, at a minimum of once weekly. Throughout our time together, we'll work to nurture a relationship where you feel secure, nurtured, and empowered. My sessions are open-ended, allowing you to work to a natural ending, which is an important part of the therapeutic process.
My first session
If my approach feels like a good fit for you, feel free to send me an email. We can schedule a convenient time for us to chat over the phone, for a brief complimentary assessment. This initial conversation is a chance for us to connect and see how we can best work together. Should we decide to move forward with therapy, our first session will involve a more in-depth assessment, which is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions.
