£65 for an online session, £75 for a walking session, and £75 for a face to face session. I see face to face clients in Kingston Upon Thames, Wimbledon, and Little Venice, and usually see walking clients in Richmond Park.
About me and my therapy practice
I'm a BACP registered member and UKCP accredited psychotherapist offering a relational and integrative approach. Being an integrative psychotherapist means my sessions incorporate several approaches including humanistic, transpersonal, and psychodynamic. I also lean towards the trauma model approach of parts/sub-personalties (or IFS) when appropriate. As well as traditional talking therapy I offer body work and creative tools including art, drama, movement and dream work as an alternative way to work with presenting issues. This varied approach benefits you as I can adopt a perspective that is catered to your needs.
Practice description
There’s something inherently healing about being seen and heard. I see psychotherapy as something you can offer to yourself. You are giving yourself the opportunity to safely explore anything, at your own pace. This is part of self-care, of being kinder to yourself, whatever that means to you. Therapy can be difficult but it can also be enjoyed.
It can feel intimidating to seek help for things that we might not even want to think about let alone share, but sharing our thoughts and feelings can lighten the weight of them, help us see things from a different perspective to find a way through.
There are countless challenges in life. Relationships, life changes, work, loss, depression, loneliness, anxiety… You could be reading this for many different reasons. Perhaps you want more joy, peace, productivity, connection, creativity, self-esteem, or to have a greater sense of purpose and meaning.
Psychotherapy can be for everyone, whatever the issue, whatever your aspiration. Wherever you are in life and whatever you want to achieve, I offer you safe, confidential space and support to explore these things.
My first session
Finding a therapist can feel daunting. How will you know if the therapist is right for you? There’s only so much you can determine from a photograph or from a brief bio about a therapist.
Therefore, I suggest we have a chat beforehand where we get to know each other a little and see whether we can work together. This would be no longer than 20 minutes and is an important first step to establishing whether we can imagine a relationship together. The second step is an introductory session and I offer a reduced online fee of £50 for this.
Why is this important? Because this is what therapy is - a relationship. Often dubbed a ‘therapeutic alliance’, this relationship is fundamental for any positive change to occur. It is through this connection that successful therapy can be found.
What I can help with
Abuse, Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Child related issues, Cultural issues, Depression, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Obsessions, OCD, Personal development, Phobias, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Substance Dependency, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
Types of therapy
Brief therapy, Creative therapy, Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Interpersonal, Jungian, Person centred, Phenomenological, Play therapy, Psychodynamic, Relational, Solution focused brief therapy, Transactional analysis, Transpersonal
Clients I work with
Adults, Older adults, Organisations, Trainees, Young people
How I deliver therapy
