About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with life's day to day challenges? Do you find it difficult share your thoughts and feelings with others. Do you feel overwhelmed or anxious? I'm here to provide a warm and confidential therapeutic space where you can explore the issues affecting you at this time. We are individuals with our own values. Ultimately you are your own expert in yourself I aim to help you achieve positive change and a more fulfilling life going forward,
I am a fully qualified Psychodynamic/person Centred therapist but work with clients integratively, combining Solution focussed, C.B.T. and Mindfulness all tailored to your needs. I will welcome and support you in whatever you bring to therapy, listening to you and working with you to explore, reflect on and regain insight into yourself, your situation, your past and how that has brought you to who you are today.
I have supported clients from a range of ages and backgrounds, working with issues including anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, anger, loneliness, relationships, domestic / sexual abuse, loss and trauma.
My aim is to support clients through troubled times and to witness together the personal growth and development that therapy can bring.
Counselling can be a fascinating process of self-discovery, helping you to understand how you became the person you are and to think about how you might want to move forward as you develop greater self-awareness and self-acceptance.
Every client and every therapeutic process is different, and I will always value you as a unique individual, with the utmost respect for the journey you have navigated and the place you find yourself in now.
