About me and my therapy practice

Counselling can really make a difference when things get hard – feeling understood, safe and genuinely accepted helps. Looking for the right help can be daunting, especially when you are already feeling low and confused. By exploring this site, you have taken the first important step.

Even if you have a supportive circle, it may be easier to talk about personal, family or relationship issues with an independent and professional therapist. I offer a confidential space where you can explore your feelings and thoughts in your own time, privately.

You may already have a sense of what you want from counselling, or you may just feel something's not right in your life. I will be beside you, helping you identify, understand, and address your worries. You may feel distressed, or you may simply want to be curious about who you are and who you hope to be.

Whatever it is, together we can work to ease your pain and heal what hurts.

Practice description

Sessions are held in my private practice in Reigate, or remotely via Zoom or Telephone.

Sometimes we lose touch with ourselves and grow numb, perhaps because we didn’t have the right environment growing up, or because things have happened in our lives and have become stuck. Difficult things happen in our live but when we feel isolated and alone these can become traumatic. In counselling, we can work together to co-create a place to support you to figure things out.

You can decide how long you want to attend and how deep you wish to go. I will do my best to be honest and authentic, and to work with you with compassion.

I am a member of the BACP.  This means my work adheres to the high standards set by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy’s ethical guidelines and code of practice.

My first session

Our first session will be a chance to get to know each other and decide whether we are the right fit, it is important that you feel safe and comfortable with your counsellor. We will talk about what is going on for you and what you are hoping to get from therapy, and then together we will decide how we will work together.

We can figure out what suits you best in terms of time and commitment.
