Feeling overwhelmed by your feelings? Does feeling anxious, depressed or lacking in self-confidence feel familiar? I know this can be isolating and leave you struggling to open up about what's going on for you. The good news is that counselling with me can help you.
Practice description
I work integratively, which means I adapt my approach to best suit your needs. Finding the right counsellor is so important, and it's for this reason I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation. This gives us time to talk through what you are looking for from counselling and to see if we are a good fit.
Working with me will help you see things from a different perspective so that you can understand how you got to this place. Counselling can help you communicate clearly how you feel and what you want, improving your relationships in all parts of your life. I can help you challenge critical thoughts you have about yourself so that you start to accept and build confidence in who you are.
Counselling can often brings up things we weren't expecting. We would work together flexibly on whatever is coming up for you, if that changed over time.
My first session
Once we have decided to work together, your first session will focus on exploring your reasons for seeking counselling, any previous experience of counselling and any expectations and goals you may have.
