About me and my therapy practice

I'm a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member with BACP - the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with a humanistic approach. I offer a 15 minutes free consultation to understand your needs and how we might work together.

My aim is to offer you a safe and confidential space where you are able to explore your thoughts and feelings freely.  I will work with you, at your pace and enable you to see and develop towards the outcome that you want to achieve.

I have supported young people and adults struggling with stress, social anxiety, autism, bullying, emotional or physical abuse, trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, divorce, bereavement or simply coming to terms with challenges that life throws at us.

I am mindful of cultural and familial pressures and expectations, and of the struggles facing people who come from diverse backgrounds or facing other hardships and traumas. Suffering in silence can lead to lonely, isolated places and depression.

The first step to reach out for help may not seem easy; But support is available.

If I am unable to help you, I will be upfront and recommend other capable hands so that your needs will not be overlooked.

I have experience working with teenagers, young adults and individuals and couples either online, over the phone or face to face.  Family sessions are face to face.

About me and my therapy practice

As an Experienced and Qualified Counsellor I understand people seek counselling for many different reasons; to understand life-changing experiences, to come to terms with physical illnesses, traumas or chronic diagnoses, relationship difficulties, divorce, bereavement or simply to find a space to talk and to understand themselves.

I am mindful of cultural family pressures and expectations and of the struggles people who come from oppressed backgrounds face. I like to see people finding their real selves again, following their dreams, feeling empowered, regaining lost confidence and striving to reach their potential.

Before training as a psychotherapist, my first career was in the financial sector for many years and have experienced the day-to-day stress, pressure and anxiety of the corporate world.

As a parent, I bring an understanding to my work of complex issues such as infertility, child development, modern-day parenting and co-parenting relationships.

As an immigrant I understand the struggle of re-establishing one self in a new environment, new culture and the feeling of isolation from friend and family.

But there is hope!
