About me and my therapy practice
Counselling can help you find new perspectives and alleviate psychological suffering.
My practice is based on the Person-Centred approach, which means you are the person at the centre of therapy, holding the answers to your life's questions. We will work as a team and explore how you respond to what happened and how you would like to move forward despite what happened. As you explore what happened and how you feel, I will be by your side trying to understand the thoughts and emotions behind your inner response. This process can be very therapeutic and offers insight to the problems you are experiencing.
You will find a non-judgemental approach in therapy with me. Your view and experience will be treated with respect, compassion and honesty. I want to offer you the experience of being listened to and understood. I hope through our therapeutic discussions, you will become more in tune with yourself and realise you have options in your situation. I warmly welcome you to take the first step with me.
My experience
Having lived in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Manchester, and Glasgow, I gained unique cultural experiences and understood the struggle of transition and difficulties to fit in. Now, finding peace within myself, I can empathise deeply with individuals who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety and self-doubt. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures and have experience with work stress, grief, low self-esteem, adverse childhood experiences, identity crises, racial discrimination, climate anxiety, anxiety, depression, and more. I support people who experienced intergenerational trauma and are affected by living with neurodiversity. I also work with issues arising from multicultural relationships.
In addition to my private practice, I am a counsellor (volunteer) at Cruse Bereavement Support Scotland.

Each counselling session lasts 50 minutes. We can work on a week-by-week basis or arrange the sessions or block-bookings to suit your needs. Concession fees are available for students, trainees and individuals on a low income.
