I am also trained and experienced in integrative approaches that may assist you to untangle your various thoughts, emotions, and moods.
Practice description
Therapy is about 'getting real' with your issues, not only by thinking more clearly about them, but by understanding them with a growing sense of attunement to your inner self. Together, we may explore memories, images, sensations, and perceptions; you would be supported every step of the way to tune in to what is present in your experience of yourself in the here-and-now, on deep and subtle levels, as we explore how you relate to life. The concentrated work that you do in therapy may assist you to find and release the energy and inspiration to create action in your life when necessary.
I may support you to explore your issues, and guide you in how to take care of your feelings and enhance your thought processes, however here are no quick fixes in therapy; psychological healing and recovery from any symptoms of distress is often a slow and gradual process. For therapy to be successful it requires commitment from you to learn and grow as a person, and take actions to prioritise your mental health and improve your wellbeing. I'm here to assist you as you take responsibility for your own suffering and create positive life changes.
Through the relationship that you build with yourself in therapy, you may clarify your needs so you can attend to them, resource yourself with a deeper sense of self-understanding, and thrive based on being true to yourself. You may also be able to dream new possibilities and transform your life through embracing ever-expanding horizons, as you grow as a person. I offer the time, space, deep listening and compassionate guidance so you can come to terms with your current life circumstances, and discover ways to create life changes that are self-aware, energised, resilient and more truly aligned with who you are. I invite you to message me today to find out whether we may be a good fit for working together.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Kes. :-)
I'm a therapist, and someone who occasionally uses therapy myself. I know that sometimes it is not easy to reach out and ask for support; it is a leap of trust to open up about your thoughts and feelings.

I practise a "whole person" approach informed by person-centred, integrative counselling training and experience in clinics and private practice working with diverse individuals.
