I currently work on Zoom and from my main practice in Golders Green in North West London. I provide weekly 50-minute sessions. I work with individuals or couples and provide supervision for therapists on an open-ended or short-term basis.
The length of therapy will depend on the client and their therapeutic goals and the types of issues being addressed. We will discuss these in our initial phone call.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a counselling psychologist working with both individuals and couples. I offer a safe, neutral, non-judgmental space to explore any thoughts or feelings that have been prominent in your life, whether in the past, the present or quite possibly both. Together we work to create a therapeutic relationship, meeting as equals to empower and encourage you to explore and recognise patterns of behaviour that may be helpful for you to address. We can work together to set new, achievable goals for a different future and to implement change.
The counselling relationship can be a great source of support and relief, through difficult times. Having someone there who understands, listens and does not judge is very powerful and can result in lasting change. We often emerge more confident, resilient, and with a sense of peace.
Life can be so busy, leaving little or no time for nurturing our mental health. It’s understandable not to know where to turn next and it’s important to know you’re not alone.
Therapy is the ultimate in self-care.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) having demonstrated high standards of competent practice by working under their ethical framework. I am committed to ongoing professional development and my work is fully insured. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, which means I am suitable to work with teenagers and adults in a therapeutic capacity.
The use of the title Dr in this directory listing relates to the member’s doctorate qualification. However, this does not imply a general medical qualification.
Practice description
I love what I do; specifically helping people overcome and meet their challenges. I aim to help my clients find the answers within themselves to the challenges they face. I don't rush my clients although I do help them reach their goals as quickly as possible.
Whilst I am always very sensitive to my clients emotions I try to gently challenge them to their benefit. I work with a diverse range of clients from many differing backgrounds and cultures, as well as the wide range of issues they bring.
I welcome clients who are facing any number of issues. Therapy can help and support you through any difficult period of your life.
My first session
I offer a free telephone consultation lasting approximately 15 minutes. This is an informal chat and there is no obligation to continue. During this consultation, you can discuss your needs and what you would like to get from your therapy sessions and understand a little more about how the counselling process works. From here you can decide if you feel I am the right therapist for you, and if so, we can arrange your first session at a time suitable for you.

I am pleased to inform you that I currently have availability within my practice for new supervisees. Sessions can be scheduled at mutually convenient times during both daytime and evening hours.
To accommodate various preferences and needs, I offer supervision sessions either in person or via Zoom. This flexibility ensures that we can find a time and format that works best for your schedule and comfort.
Please get in touch with me to arrange a time that suits us both. I look forward to working with you and supporting your professional development in the field of counselling.
About me and my therapy practice
I am trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and practice integratively. This means I incorporate various approaches and techniques to tailor the supervision process to each supervisee's unique needs and circumstances. I believe in viewing case studies from multiple viewpoints to broaden our understanding and enhance our perspectives. By being open-minded and utilising a range of modalities, we can explore new areas of focus and gain deeper insights, which can bring enlightenment to a supervisee's work.
I take great pleasure in working with parenting and relationships, but I consider myself a generalist. I enjoy the variety of clients I encounter, both through my own practice and through the client work of my supervisees. My extensive experience spans various presentations and challenges, and I find that the more variety I encounter, the better.
My approach to supervision is supportive and encouraging. I aim to bring out the best in my supervisees, guiding them to achieve the highest quality of work with their clients. I also place a strong emphasis on ethics, ensuring that my supervisees feel confident in their ability to work safely and responsibly.
Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced therapist, I am here to support your professional development. I work with both groups and individuals, in organisational settings or private practice. My goal is to create a collaborative and enriching supervision experience that fosters growth, skill development, and professional excellence.
Practice description
What to Expect from My Practice:
Clients can expect the freedom to explore themselves within their work as well as the work itself. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where supervisees feel comfortable bringing their very worst. In this space, they will be heard without judgment or fear but rather with support and encouragement. This approach allows supervisees to continue growing as practitioners, even when they make errors in judgment.
We all make mistakes in our work, and my clients feel safe bringing these issues to our meetings. This transparency offers relief and leads to improvements in their practice. Supervision sessions provide a safe space to share and grow, not only as practitioners but also in terms of self-development.
Clients can expect consistent and dependable support from someone who has their back. This secure environment helps them feel confident and secure in seeing their own clients.
In my practice, you will find a supportive partner in your professional journey, dedicated to helping you achieve your best and navigate the complexities of your work with confidence and integrity.
My first session
I ask for no commitment from my clients. I believe that the foundation of a successful supervisory relationship starts with a good fit between the supervisor and supervisee. Therefore, I encourage an initial chat on the phone to discuss your needs and what you are seeking in a supervisor. This conversation allows us to determine if we are a good match and if my approach aligns with your expectations and goals.
If it sounds right for both of us, I suggest we proceed with our first meeting and take it from there. Flexibility and transparency are at the core of my practice, ensuring that you feel comfortable and supported from the very beginning.
During this initial session, you can expect a welcoming and open environment where we will further discuss your professional needs, goals, and any specific areas you wish to focus on. This session is an opportunity for you to get a sense of how we might work together and for me to understand how best to support your development as a practitioner.
