About me and my therapy practice

As an experienced qualified Integrative Counsellor, I work intuitively with my clients, building what I can only describe as a real and empowering connection. With that connection, trust and a safe space we have the right combination to address any needs that arise

Saying something out loud can be a powerful and profound experience. Together we can break down barriers, thinking patterns or sit with the emotions that come to the surface and help find a brighter and more fulfilling life.

I work a wide range of mental health challenges including ADHD, anxiety, OCD, self-harm, suicide ideation and neurodivergence naming just a few, with both adults and children.

I have often found myself not fitting into the normal boxes society expects, but have learnt that it's not always necessary to fit specific expectations. Embracing this difference can be challenging but very rewarding. I encompass the same thought in my counselling world, it doesn't always fit everyone and I am happy to work with you to tailor an experience that suits your needs as an individual, working both online and in person.

Practice description

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, holding a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, A CPCAB Level 5 in working with children and young people and am currently undertaking level 6 to work as a clinical supervisor to other counsellors.  I am an integrative counsellor which means I use a variety of different therapeutic approaches to support your needs. Including Person centred, talking therapy, CBT, and psychodynamic, alongside using a creative approach. I am fully insured, hold an enhanced DBS certificate and am registered as a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists MBACP. I am incredibly intuitive and find working along side people helping them enlighten their journey a rewarding experience.

My first session

I believe the start of a great counselling journey begins with a good initial connection. Therefore I offer a free 30 minute initial discussion online. In this session we would explore what you would like to gain from the counselling process and what I could offer you to support that. This also gives you the space to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.
